Greetings, friends of BTE. We want to take a minute to thank you all for your continued support. We don’t take that lightly and we won’t take it for granted. In Hollywood, where “indie” film translates to a “low” budget of “only” $10 million, there are some days when our two-person Z-Machine does feel like a David/Goliath dynamic, as some have suggested. And that’s fine, even if we’re not religious by any goddamn means. Bottom line: we believe in what we’re doing, and what we’re doing is trying to allow Jim Morrison’s humanity to emerge. Sadly, there are those who prefer Jim chained to his Lizard King/Dionysus stereotype. We’ll allow you to fathom their motivations for maintaining that objective. In the meantime, please watch this space for updates as we move closer to our goal of a December 8, 2013 release date in commemoration of Jim’s 70th birthday.
